Dr. Filippos Ioannidis

Filippos Ioannidis is the General Manager of GEARS, a newly established RES Aggregator in the Greek wholesale electricity market. Filippos holds a PhD in Economics from the Department of Economics at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece. His research focus on the development of the Hellenic Energy Exchange under the Target Model guidelines.

Filippos holds an MSc in Banking and Finance from the School of Economics of International Hellenic University, Thessaloniki, Greece and an MSc in Economics from School of Economics and Management  from Lund University in Sweden. He obtained his bachelor’s degree in Economics from the Department of Economics at University of Macedonia, Thessaloniki, Greece.
