2nd HAEE Energy Transition Symposium

Saturday May 20^th, 2017 marked the very successful completion of the 2nd International Conference of the Hellenic Association for Energy Economics, titled "The Landscape in the New Era of Energy Transition: Challenges, Investment Opportunities and Technological Innovations" held at the Metropolitan Hotel in Athens.

The three-day event surpassed every expectation as more than 250 experts from all over the world attended, representing more than 25 nationalities from Greece, United States of America, Germany, Belgium, the United Kingdom, France, Spain, Italy, Russia, Japan, China, India, Canada and Chile. 

During the conference over 80 presentations from academics and analysts were presented, while more than 50 top experts from the energy sector, from Greece and abroad, analyzed the landscape and offered solutions for the development of the country’s energy potential, in over 10 round table plenary discussions.

With the conclusion of the conference, HAEE's executive board initiated the diffusion of conclusions and relative material through the International Association for Energy Economics network to other international and national conferences and their local energy executive circle of contacts all over the world. 

In this way the results and conclusions of the conference are at any given time at the disposal of the global energy community confirming HAEE's role as the most reliable source of information for the international energy world about the developments in Greece.
