HAEE's Annual Award Ceremony

HAEE's Annual Award is given to a Greek researcher / professional that has excelled in the fields of Energy, Economy, and Environment, leaving a significant international footprint with his work.

This year's Award has been given to Dr. Yiannis Stournaras, Governor of the Bank of Greece, for his long-standing contribution in economic policymaking towards a low-carbon economy and climate change mitigation.

Due to prior commitments, Dr. Stournaras could not attend the venue, and therefore the award was received on his behalf by Ms. Theodora Antonakaki, Director of Climate Change and Sustainability Centre of the Bank of Greece.
