PAST EVENT
18 October 2018 Baku Higher Oil School

The 3rd IAEE Eurasian Conference will take place in Baku, Azerbaijan, on October 18-20, 2018.

South Caucasian and Central Asian countries have rich hydrocarbon, hydro, renewable and alternative energy resources and geopolitical advantages. There are issues with rational use and effective management of these energy resources. Playing an important role for Europe's energy security, the efficient use of investment and innovative opportunities in the energy sector of these countries and the formation of a regional energy market are among the most crucial issues.

The IAEE conducted the 1st IAEE Eurasian Conference on the topic of the “Energy Economics Emerging from the Caspian Region:  Challenges and Opportunities,” 28-31 August, 2016 at the Hilton Baku Hotel, in Baku, Azerbaijan. The 2nd IAEE Eurasian Conference on the topic of the “Energy in Eurasia: Economic Perspectives on Challenges, Risks and Opportunities” was held on 13-14 October, 2017, in Zagreb, Croatia.

As part of these conference series, the IAEE is planning to hold the 3rd IAEE Eurasian Conference in 2018, Baku, Azerbaijan.

In addition to a rich program, with its informal social functions, the conference will provide a unique opportunity for networking and enhancing communication amongst energy professionals from business, government, academia and other circles worldwide.

The conference program is being prepared by an international Program Committee to ensure that critical issues of vital concern and importance to governments and industries are presented, considered and discussed from all perspectives. In this context, many exiting sessions on key current energy issues, featuring internationally established speakers and lively discussions, can be expected. The local arrangements are being planned by a Local Organizing Committee to guarantee excellent logistics at best quality. The Sponsorship Committee works to make sure the rich program and arrangements of the conference get available to delegates at affordable rates.
