The Hellenic Association for Energy Economics, in cooperation with Insider.gr, is happy to host another Virtual Event, titled “COVID-19 | What are the Next Day scenarios for the energy & industry sector in Greece”.
The Covid-19 crisis has become a major economic crisis, which has been deeply destabilizing for governments, companies, and equity markets. In a worldwide level, the industry & energy sector are facing unprecedented challenges with a deep fall in consumption and wholesale prices.
As the pandemic constantly changes the needs of producers, companies & consumers with excessive speed, the Virtual Discussion will highlight how the Greek industry sector is adjusting to a world where consumption patterns are rapidly changing and where energy market is facing increased uncertainty as the country adjusts to a prolonged period of COVID-19 lockdown.
Moreover, the Discussion will look at the banking system’s targeted measures, which will support the Greek economy, as well as at the initiatives of the Ministry of Energy that will strengthen the energy sector.
