It was a great honor for the Hellenic Association for Energy Economics to participate in the 8th Regional Growth Conference.
The Conference was organised under HAEE's auspices and Its dedicated session titled "Energy Roads" was also supported by HAEE. The ways of utilizing all the potential energy elements of local, Greek and European interest were discussed during the session, taking into account the capacity and criticality of the current developments in the Southeastern Mediterranean. At the same time, the framework of actions was being explored with the specifications and limitations of domestic and international energy policy, in order to ensure a sustainable development of the energy sector from the production stage to final use.

The Regional Growth Conference (RGC) has been held since 2013 and is a public dialogue platform between government, regional, university and business representatives.
The Conference brings together the representatives of the above sectors, in order to exchange views and good practices, and to reach collaborations that benefit society, entrepreneurship and public knowledge.
The conference took place on July 2-4, 2020 at the facilities of Achaia Clauss in Patras.
