The new volume of the Chart of the Month is out and we are excited to share it with you!

Volume 30, titled "Unlocking RES Potential: Addressing Curtailments through Storage" focuses on the critical issue facing Europe’s energy transition: renewable energy curtailments. Our analysis reveals that curtailed energy primarily occurs during peak Solar PV hours and warmer months, where demand mismatches with production. The report also highlights significant disparities in wholesale electricity prices across the EU, ranging from 12 €/MWh to 145 €/MWh.

This volume emphasizes the importance of storage solutions to better align renewable energy supply with demand. By normalizing data for Greece, we offer a closer look at local trends and provide actionable insights for improving grid flexibility and reducing wasted renewable energy.
