A few words about the book
The examination of the role of oil as a potential cause of transnational conflicts, especially between the Great Powers and the way in which the competition between them has shaped the global industry and the hydrocarbon trading system is the basic analytical part of Dr. Tsakiris’ new book, which makes it unique in its kind in the Greek bibliography. Dr. Thakiris' book is successfully balancing Daniel Yergin's book, “The Prize”, describing the interconnection of oil security with world politics and the one of Stephen Krasner, “Defending the National Interest”.
The book is available by Papazisis Publishers.
