HAEE always strives to apply rigorous analysis to the most important topics related to energy economics and effectively communicate conclusions to an energy-concerned audience. In this framework, our new endeavour is a monthly series, containing an informative chart on the energy sector, focusing on various aspects of energy production, energy consumption and energy economics. Each issue will contain an original chart, short notes and key messages.

We believe that it is crucial to support the energy community with robust scientific data and analyses, so we are excited to contribute to the advancement and dissemination of new knowledge, by offering open access to everyone.

In the January edition, the chart covers the electricity generation mix in each country of the European Union and Greece’s position among them, in terms of type of fuel use in electricity generation.
