HAEE supports the 6th Ukrainian Gas Forum – Eastern European Gas Сongress

This year the Eastern European Gas Congress and the Ukrainian Gas Forum will hold a joint event on 27-28 October 2020 online from Kyiv, Ukraine. The event will cover the contiguous natural gas markets from Greece to Ukraine, plus Turkey.

The Hellenic Association for Energy Economics (HAEE) is among the partners of the virtual event, while HAEE's former and founding President, Kostas Andriosopoulos, Professor in Energy Economics at ESCP Business School, is one of the confirmed speakers on the 2nd day of the event on October 28th.  

Panels of experts will deliver their take on the issues of the gas year: 

- the upcoming heating season and the state of storage, 
- the changing patterns in gas flows, reforms and EU market rules adoptions, and 
- the geopolitics of natural gas in the region. 
Long-term issues are also addressed: 
- recent gas discoveries in the offshore,
- future flows various pipeline and LNG terminal scenarios, and
- that other gas that for which there is growing interest: hydrogen.

The event covers the upstream, midstream and downstream of natural gas. 

As for networking, we’d like to say that the drinks are on us, but unfortunately the socializing will have to be sober and virtual this year. Attendees will be able to communicate with one another (those who opt in) and to field their questions to the speakers.
