The new volume of the Chart of the Month is out!

In Volume 27, titled "Harnessing the Sea Winds: Offshore Wind Developments in Greece", you can explore Greece’s efforts to incorporate offshore wind power into its energy portfolio, with ambitious goals outlined in the NECP. Currently there is a pilot project in the north Aegean Sea already in active development. The Greek government has identified 23 suitable areas for offshore wind projects.

Overall, both fixed and floating offshore wind technologies are expected to witness significant cost reductions, encouraging further investment and development. Achieving these targets will require substantial financial investment, crucial for the fast-tracking and successful implementation of Greece's offshore wind power initiatives.
