While Germany, the UK, and the Netherlands dominate, Nordic countries attract investment for their renewable energy. Greece is emerging as a key hub, backed by major tech investments. AI-driven efficiency, heat reuse, and renewables are shaping the sector, with global data center spending projected to reach $50 billion by 2030.

As digital demand grows, data centers must balance expansion with sustainability, leveraging AI, advanced cooling, and waste heat recovery to reduce energy consumption while integrating into the broader energy transition.
